Curcumin is the principal bioactive compound in turmeric, with potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It modulates over 100 molecular targets, making it one of the most studied natural compounds for inflammation.
Take with a fat-containing meal. Enhanced forms can be taken anytime with food. Effects build over 4–8 weeks.
Standard curcumin has <1% bioavailability. Always use enhanced forms (piperine, phytosome, or nanoparticle) for meaningful absorption.
